- If you haven’t caught up to Buff1, it’s because he’s busy cranking out projects like Crown Royale, Athletic Mic League (AML), and not to mention his solo projects but he still finds time to drop in on a show or 2. This track, Original by the Space Invadas, features Buff1 & RuC.L and will also be featured on Buff”s upcoming project It’s A 1derful Life (drops Dec 2…Buff’s B-Day). The great folks at A-Side Worldwide have been dropping sneak peeks of Buff1′s projects like The Shift (track below). I’m still not sure what project that ones coming from, but I’m sure it’ll be cool. It’s A 1derful Life got folks from Rhettmatic to Cook Classics doing production on it (click the cover for track list). So keep your eyes and ears open on December 2!!! BIG thanks Steph for the heads up.

I was reading through some tweets a while back and saw that Houseshoes posted a link to Houseshoes Presents Quelle Blue Mondays. I recalled talking to Houseshoes telling me Quelle was one of the cats he was listening to. I had no idea it was at this level. Quelle doesn’t just emcee it, but produced half of the tracks on Blue Monday with a select few producers. Blue Monday is a good listen… even on Mondays. Download Houseshoes Presents Quelle Blue Mondays here. Check out other tracks Quelle dropped on SoundCloud. BIG thanks Houseshoes for the heads up.

I went to Fatbeats for Fashawn and Exile’s in-store and picked up the album Boy Meets World (dope, must have). I talked to Houseshoes and he was like, “If you want some dope sh*t, check this.” and handed me Kev BrownRandom Joints. When Houseshoes talks music, you listen! I bought that too. I got in my car, put Random Joints in, and rocked it back to back. I even drove the long way home. You can buy Random Joints online, but with a physical copy you get 2 additional tracks and an instrumental track! Another reason to grab a physical copy Random Joints is self distributed, meaning Kev Brown / Low Budget shipped it or dropped it off himself. That’s tight. Either way, go buy Kev Brown’sRandom Joints. You’ll be glad you did. Catch up with Kev Brow on Twitter. BIG thanks to Houseshoes for the recommendation and Low Budget for putting out dope stuff. Can’t wait to see what else Low Budget drops.

Val The Vandle is at it again. Bringing the acts you want to see, and ones you NEED to see. This Friday The Spliff’s got the best from the I.E. Noa James. The only way I can describe Noa James is he’ll spit ill lyrics, choke you out with the mic cord, and stomp a hole in your chest. He’s that ill. Check out Sounds Of A Monster and you’ll know what I’m talking about. And on the other side of the spectrum you got Kooley High. The last time they were out here I didn’t get a chance to see them perform, but this time I’m there. If you get a chance catch Kooley High’s documentary One Day before you head to the show. To round out the list you’ll have Ty & Kory from Buddha Brown, Speak from AppleBird, and Hawdwerk & Jansport J-who dropped High Power Moves a while back, so download a copy of that too. VerBs will be your host for the evening and always on deck Val The Vandle, Spintelect, GroWeyez & Printz Paul. This will definitely be a show to see. Catch you all at The Spliff! BIG thanks to Val for the heads up.

We all have a devilish side and How To Be A Villain is the guide on how to bring it out. Khingz & DJ Ian Head put out How To Be A Villain (ep) in 03, and I discovered it when How To Be A Villain was posted on Everydaybeats.net in early 09. I’ve been listening to this for months now, and a few other things DJ Ian Head has put out. I figured it was time to share the good tunes he’s putting out. Not only the collabos and instrumental projects, but also the monthly mixDJ Ian Head does. Check out his latest one, Rock Music. It’s got a lot of the rock classics that artists sample. Download Khingz & DJ Ian Head – How To Be A Villain here. BIG thanks for Khingz & DJ Ian Head for making this devilish manual.

Hopefully by now you know the name Noa James, but if you don’t, no worries. Noa has been cranking out the projects like crazy with the rest of the cats on Black Cloud Music. I got a few samples of Black Friday Tape, and can’t wait for the rest of it. Download the sneak peeks from Black Friday Tape here. Full album link HERE. Please take note, the bar has been set high…because of this cat Magestik Legend. I can’t recall how it went down, but Kyla opened up my ears to Magestik Legend. I downloaded Free the night before, and my first thought was I’m too swapped to through something else on the ipod. I did it anyways and good thing too. On my way home I played Free, and my pace got faster. Had to get home and post this. Each track hit hard if not harder then previous one. Besides Magestik Legend producing tracks, I also saw Snowman Jack on there. The track In N Out that he produced had to be a banger, and it is.
“The FREE Project is dedicated to giving back to those who have supported his release since day one.” (excerpt from bio). If you’re not a fan yet, you will be. Download Magestik Legend – Free here. Also check out Magestik Legend on MySpace and Twitter. BIG thanks Kyla for keeping my ears open. LOL

Haz dropped this cat Ka$h on me other day. I checked the title Black Bauer 24 and was like WHAT?!. Then I was like, how come they didn’t come up with that sooner.?! Using 24 as the concept for an album is dope. The intro was funny and then it moved into some real hip hop. Besides Haz on production they also got my man Dylan Thomas cranking out beats. From the beginning to the end Ka$h shows his range of lyrical styles that keeps your head nodding Download Ka$h – Black Bauer here. Also check out Ka$h on MySpace. BIG thanks Haz Solo for the heads up.
