Leonard Dstroy – Higher Vibrations

If you want to blast off into space on the soul train, Leonard Dstroy’s Higher Vibrations is for you.  The opening track Technical Difficulties had me cranking up the volume.  When I got to Sunset Marquis (the second track) I knew I was in for a wild ride. The 8-bit sound is really big these days, but Leonard Dstroy adds a twist to it.  I can’t put my finger on it- could it be that he uses a range of samples, or could it be those drums?!?  Either way, I got it on heavy rotation.  Download Leonard Dstroy – Higher Vibrations at BandCamp.  Also check out the LennySlitz Project.
