I met Seven Day through my homie Versis, and have been keeping an eye on their progress ever since. They keep growing with every project they put out. Right away CNCPT II shows Seven Day is making alot of progress fast. The production on it is ridiculous and they aren’t falling short on the lyrics. They’re making bangers, so don’t sleep. Even though it says “Name Your Price,” CNCPT II is worth a full price. Support these cats and buy a copy.Download Seven Day – CNCPT II on Band Camp. BIG thanks to Seven Day for the heads up and keep doing what you’re doing.

I really don’t have much to say except, watch this video. Dyme Def makes a banging track that will either have your head nodding or your feet moving. On top of that they have model and exotic dancer Brooklyn Murphy in the video- she will have your eyes glued to the screen. Either way both the video and the track will put a spell on you. V. Hobbs & Niko P. made a dope video. Dyme Def hooked up with T.I.T.S. (Two In The Shirt) clothing company on their 2nd full length album the “Sex Tape” which features Timeless. BIG thanks to Michelle at Audible Treats for the info.

I really don’t say much about going to this event except…GO!!! If you listen to music in general, you should be there. If you are thankful for the music J Dilla has blessed us with and everyone that he’s influenced, you should be there. House Shoes, Exile, Jeremy Ellis, and the Boombox crew…you should be there. Unless you’re outta town this will be the spot. Come out and enjoy the 4th Annual Celebration of the life & music of Detroit’s finest J Dilla on February 5th. It will be family, friends and good times. Big thanks Inka One and the Boombox crew. Keep doing it big. I’ll see you all there.

The great folks at Chinkyeyedla.com throw great events, and the their Belly of the Beatz is off the chain. A 16 man beat battle wrapped up with a performance with LMNO from the legendary Visionaries. It’ll be a packed house, so show up early.
