Svetnik is crazy talented.  If you don’t know who he is there was a B+C post a while back that was about his other beat tape Lo.Fi. Rocking Lo.Fi made me feel relaxed and at peace no matter what chaos was going down.  Blueprint gives you that same feeling with a nice upbeat tempo.  I was cranking out all kinds of work listening to Blueprint.  I dig the track Making Love To You because it sounds like there is a sample of one of my favorite songs; A Brighter Day by Ronnie Jordan.  Either way you’ve got to kepp an eye out for Svetnik because he drops well produced projects. I woke up a little earlier on Saturday, and saw my man Aspect 1 dropping a link to his latest project VIBE.OVER on twitter.  If any of you know Aspect, this cat only does shows on occasion, and kicks it less then that.  It’s because he’s focused on making beats.  I downloaded VIBE.OVER right away and it slapped me in the face.  I was instantly wide awake.  My friend a chung and I were ichatting about which tracks were our instant favorites.  I played it back-to-back-to-back… for reals.  I even had a hard time selecting which ones to preview.  Just download Aspect.One – VIBE.OVER, you’ll be glad you did. If there is one producer to look out for, it’s Snowman Jack. He’s cranked out tracks for artists from Guilty Simpson to Magestik Legend.  I really got to know Snowman’s work when he did I Believe on the Starship 27 compilation, and that’s when I started digging around.  I hit Snowman up to see what he could bless B+C with, and man he dropped these joints and then some. The first project I heard from Thelonious was Fear of Flight and it was dope. I kept checking back with Thelonious, and he just cranked one beat tape out after the next. I have had the honor of doing the art for one of the many beat tapes, Big Wheels &  Gold Teeth, but also keep it in heavy rotation on my iPod. A few days ago Thelonious let me know he was getting ready to put out Life Of A Teenage Champion, and explained that he was feeling really good about this one. I was excited for him and couldn’t wait to hear the progression that Thelonious made from his first beat tape to this Life Of A Teenage Champion. Anyways, rocking Sudan Life’s The Soundbomber Does The 80’s made me reminisce about the good things in the 80’s; like a Commandore 64, Eddie Murphy Movies (that were rated R & funny), and Voltron (f*!k a Power Ranger). I guess the 80’s were the sh*t. Sudan Life kills it with this 80’s sample. IllSkilz – Food Poetry

B+C has been laying low for a while, but is running at full speed. One of the things that got us going, totally came Buy Surprise. Spon aka Sponatola hit me with this mix of beats. I started listening to it while he was giving me the back story. Spon is known for drop lyrics, but wanted to let folks know he can drop a beat too. I wasn’t familiar with Spon the rapper, but quickly got to know Spon the beat maker after playing Buy Surprise back to back several times. Buy Surprise shows the range that Spon has as a beat maker.
