I was going about my day and listening to stuff on <strong><a title="Sound Cloud" href="http://soundcloud.com" target="_blank">Sound Cloud</a></strong>. Checking out all kinds of tracks and just exploring. About 10 tracks later I ran across <strong><a title="Tiger Tsunami on Sound Cloud" href="https://soundcloud.com/tigertsunami" target="_blank">Tiger Tsunami</a> </strong>and the artwork to <strong>Re: Antarctica EP</strong>. <em>&#8220;Dope cover and interesting group name, let me check this out.&#8221;</em> First track ,<em>Antarctica</em>, <em>&#8220;where can I get this?!?&#8221;</em> I left it playing as I checked out <strong><a title="Tiger Tsunami on Sound Cloud" href="https://soundcloud.com/tigertsunami" target="_blank">Tiger Tsunami&#8217;s Sound Cloud profile page</a></strong>. Clicking every link they had on it. <em>Waves</em>,<em>&#8220;where&#8217;s the download button?&#8221;</em> I was reading the tags they labeled their music; ambient electronic, future bass, post-dubstep, and couldn&#8217;t think of a better way to describe it. I love love love the <strong>Re: Antarctica EP</strong>, and can&#8217;t wait until they drop more music. <strong><a title="Tiger Tsunami on Band Camp" href="http://tigertsunami.bandcamp.com/album/re-antarctica-ep" target="_blank">Download Tiger Tsunami - Re:Antarctica EP on Band Camp</a></strong>. BIG thanks <strong><a title="Tiger Tsunami on Sound Cloud" href="https://soundcloud.com/tigertsunami" target="_blank">Tiger Tsunami</a></strong> for making great music.</p>

Oh yeah too busy listening to it. People- I want to tell you the music is out there. I know folks say Hip Hop sucks these days, and yeah I have caught myself saying it too. BUT the good stuff is out there, like this album. Yes, I went online to <strong><a title="Oddisee on iTunes" href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/people-hear-what-they-see/id516330937" target="_blank">iTunes</a></strong> and bought it. No questions. <strong><a title="Oddisee" href="http://www.oddiseemusic.com/" target="_blank">Oddisee</a></strong> is high on my list for cats making good music and influencing a change in the genre for the better. <strong>People Hear What They See</strong> has a little bit of it all. <em>Ready To Rock</em> and <em>Do It All</em> has that get into &#8220;GO MODE&#8221; vibe. Just listening to it makes me feel accomplished. Maybe because I picture folks cruising around town or in deep thought.  <em>Another Grind</em>… who shouts out Kenny Rogers?!  Don&#8217;t sit on your hands, get up and get it. <a title="Oddisee on Itunes" href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/people-hear-what-they-see/id516330937" target="_blank"><strong>Buy Oddisee &#8211; People Hear What They See on iTunes</strong></a> and <a title="Oddisee on Fat Beats" href="http://www.fatbeats.com/collections/store/products/oddisee-people-hear-what-they-see-2xlp-deluxe-haze-vinyl-bonus-45" target="_blank"><strong>vinyl at Fat Beats</strong></a>. BIG shout to <strong><a title="Mello Music Group" href="http://www.mellomusicgroup.com/" target="_blank">Mello Music Group</a></strong> for keeping me in the know. And to my man <strong><a title="Trek Life" href="http://www.treklifemusic.com/" target="_blank">Trek Life</a> </strong>for introducing me to another creative person.</p>

<strong><a title="Computer Jay" href="http://computerjay.net/" target="_blank">Computer Jay </a></strong>is one of the few producers I know that can move between genres seamlessly, and still keep his sound. The stuff he produces can melt or blow your mind. Either way it&#8217;s a good thing. <strong>Savage Planet Discotheque vol. 1</strong>… melted my brain and by the end rebuilt it just to it blow up again. I had to play <em>The Dead Ends Dead End</em> back to back. Oh man I think listening to <em>Omni Bent</em> is when my mind got rebuilt. A while back cruising around on the Internet I saw this video <em>Hardships</em> that wasn&#8217;t on <strong>vol. 1</strong>. It tripped me out. Now I&#8217;m so excited to go get <strong>vol. 2</strong>. In the meantime go buy, <strong><a title="Buy at Fat Beats" href="http://www.fatbeats.com/products/computer-jay-savage-planet-discotheque-10-ep" target="_blank">on vinyl if you can</a></strong>, <strong><a title="Computer Jay on iTunes" href="http://i.imgur.com/fvJUw.jpg" target="_blank">Computer Jay &#8211; Savage Planet Discotheque vol. 1</a></strong> and get your mind blown. <p>Let me start off by saying, everyone needs a <strong><a title="Fresh Daily" href="http://freshdailymc.com/" target="_blank">Fresh Daily</a></strong> track or album in their collection. I would even go as far as to say his music needs to be a staple in your collection. You know you’re not going to get a bad product from <strong><a title="Fresh Daily" href="http://freshdailymc.com/" target="_blank">Fresh Daily</a></strong> when he drops a new projects or a collabo track. <strong>The Brooklyn Good Guy</strong> is one to have on heavy rotation. <strong><a title="Fresh Daily" href="http://freshdailymc.com/" target="_blank">Fresh Daily</a></strong> also gathered up some talented folks to join him on this project like <strong><a title="Black Spade on Twitter" href="http://twitter.com/BlackSpade" target="_blank">Black Spade</a></strong>, <strong><a title="Melo-X" href="http://www.meloxtra.com/" target="_blank">Melo-X</a></strong>, <strong><a title="MoRuf on Sound Cloud" href="https://soundcloud.com/MoRuf" target="_blank">Moruf</a></strong>, <strong><a title="Doc Illingsworth" href="http://illingsworks.com/" target="_blank">Doc Illingsworth</a></strong>,<strong> <a title="Mike Baker The Bike Maker" href="http://mikebakerthebikemaker.com" target="_blank">Mike Baker the Bike Maker</a></strong> etc. If these names aren’t familiar, please do yourself a favor and check out what they make as well. After the first go around of <strong>The Brooklyn Good Guy</strong> you’ll place it with your classics. <strong><a title="Fresh Daily" href="http://freshdailymc.com/media/music-2/" target="_blank">Check out Fresh Daily &#8211; The Brooklyn Good Guy on FreshDailyMC.com </a></strong>and check out his previous releases.  BIG thanks to <strong><a title="Fresh Daily" href="http://freshdailymc.com/" target="_blank">Fresh Daily</a></strong> for keeping me in the loop.</p>

Anything called <strong>The Graveyard Shift</strong> is a horror movie or someone&#8217;s putting in all-nighters and working hard. If you haven’t figured it out yet, it’s the 2nd one. <strong><a title="Hawdwerk" href="http://bluecollarwerk.com/" target="_blank">Hawdwerk</a></strong> has been putting in hard work, and I think it’s about to pay off. <strong><a title="Hawdwerk" href="http://bluecollarwerk.com/" target="_blank">Hawdwerk</a></strong> has teamed up with <strong><a title="Kaleem on Twitter" href="https://twitter.com/JusCallMeKaleem" target="_blank">Kaleem Wasif </a></strong>and <strong><a title="Funklogik on Twitter" href="https://twitter.com/FunkLogik" target="_blank">Funklogik</a></strong> from <strong><a title="Asiatic Rhythms" href="http://www.asiaticrhythms.com/" target="_blank">Asiatic Rhythms</a></strong> to produce and master all the tracks on <strong>The Graveyard Shift</strong>. <strong><a title="Hawdwerk" href="http://bluecollarwerk.com/" target="_blank">Hawdwerk</a></strong> has a good crew and good company, and keeps at it in addition to working that graveyard shift. This is one cat we’ve already had on a winner’s block. When you get a chance check out his <strong><a title="Hawdwerk" href="http://bluecollarwerk.com/" target="_blank">EPK</a></strong> and catch up on what <strong><a title="Hawdwerk" href="http://bluecollarwerk.com/" target="_blank">Hawdwerk&#8217;s</a></strong> been doing. In the meantime<strong><a title="Hawdwerk - The Graveyard Shift" href="http://music.bluecollarwerk.com/album/the-graveyard-shift" target="_blank"> buy Hawdwerk &#8211; The Graveyard Shift on Band Camp.</a></strong> BIG shout to <strong><a title="Curtiss King" href="http://curtissking.com/" target="_blank">Curtiss King</a></strong> and <strong><a title="Illregular Instrumentals" href="http://www.illregularinstrumentals.com/" target="_blank">J. BIG thanks to my man <strong><a title="Hawdwerk" href="http://bluecollarwerk.com/" target="_blank">Hawdwerk</a></strong> for showing folks the hard work that goes into the music. Keep it going my man.</p>
