Just what you have all been waiting for… more Crown Royale! A video and an EP from Crown Royale, what more can you ask for?! From their self-titled LP, Crown Royale, We Gotcha takes you through some of the spots in sunny SoCal, and to our beloved Fat Beats. It also features Buff1 and Rhettmatic running around town getting into a little mischief and mayhem. Crown Royale is also making a little extra cash in Venice cutting it up. Nothing but good times with these two. Recently Crown Royale dropped their EP Crown Jewels: A (2)Dope EP. Featuring artists El Da Sensei, Kam Moye and a remix by Red Bull BIG Tune Champ 14KT. THIS IS A MUST…AUG. 7TH Boombox Producer Showcase Vol. 8. I have never felt so strongly about going to an event before. I just have to say, if you don’t go to Boombox: Producer Showcase Vol. 8 you must be trying to save your house from a fire. The lineup the Boombox crew has put together is ridiculous. Ras-G, 14KT, Dert, MNDSGN, F.A.M.E. and DJ sets from D-Fib & GroWeyez. If you haven’t seen or heard about these folks google them, ask a friend, search Beats+Crates, but do what you have to do to understand this show is going to be EPIC. BIG thanks to the Boombox crew Inka One, Ben Diggin, and One Man Jazz for putting on dope events. And I’ll see you all there.

Magestik Legend – To Be Continued …Chapter 1

Magestik Legend doesn’t disappoint, and he brings the heat once again with To Be Continued… Chapter 1. I played To Be Continued from beginning to end, and had the volume cranked up. I thought Magestik Legend was dope when he dropped FREE, but he kills it on this one. Bout Freedom (produced by Astronote) gets you geared up to walk a little harder, head nodding , hands waving.. good time. To Be Continued is hosted by T3 of Slum Village and has guest appearances by Marv Won, Ro Spit, Othello, and Buff1 gives a shout out. I’m rounding out the year with stuff I’ve had in heavy rotation, and now I’m bringing it to you. It’s taken me a while to write about Ro Spit’s The OH S#!T Project because I keep playing it. Best way to describe it is “…more than a mixtape, but not quite an album.” nevertheless, still a banger. Ro Spit is one you shouldn’t sleep on. The OH S#!T Project has been out for a few months, and gets better and better every time I play it. If you haven’t caught up to Buff1, it’s because he’s busy cranking out projects like Crown Royale, Athletic Mic League (AML), and not to mention his solo projects but he still finds time to drop in on a show or 2. This track, Original by the Space Invadas, features Buff1 & RuC.L and will also be featured on Buff”s upcoming project It’s A 1derful Life (drops Dec 2…Buff’s B-Day). The great folks at A-Side Worldwide have been dropping sneak peeks of Buff1′s projects like The Shift (track below). I’m still not sure what project that ones coming from, but I’m sure it’ll be cool. It’s A 1derful Life got folks from Rhettmatic to Cook Classics doing production on it (click the cover for track list). So keep your eyes and ears open on December 2!!!
