I didn’t know who Andy Madeleine was until I saw The Black Opera’s M.A.S.H. video. It’s a monster track with stunning visuals to match. Andy has great story telling ability with the camera, so when I got an email from Steph about The Black Opera’s Villains video, also directed by Andy Madeleine, I couldn’t wait to check it out. This is one you just have to watch. Not to give anything away, but after watching it I don’t trust kids anymore. There’s a Villain in all of us. If you haven’t caught up to Buff1, it’s because he’s busy cranking out projects like Crown Royale, Athletic Mic League (AML), and not to mention his solo projects but he still finds time to drop in on a show or 2. This track, Original by the Space Invadas, features Buff1 & RuC.L and will also be featured on Buff”s upcoming project It’s A 1derful Life (drops Dec 2…Buff’s B-Day). The great folks at A-Side Worldwide have been dropping sneak peeks of Buff1′s projects like The Shift (track below). I’m still not sure what project that ones coming from, but I’m sure it’ll be cool. It’s A 1derful Life got folks from Rhettmatic to Cook Classics doing production on it (click the cover for track list). So keep your eyes and ears open on December 2!!! Got an email from the good folks at A-Side Worldwide with a link to this video of Buff1, Diz Gibran, and Cook Classics reworking The Best Are Full Of Love. The track was originally done with Shaw Jackson for Cook’s The New Classics, but got put on hold for future projects that are coming to light. The Best Are Full Of Love will be featured on Buff1′s upcoming album It’s a 1derful Life and Shaw Jackson’s mixtape, so keep an eye out. Download The Best Are Full Of Love here. For most of y’all I don’t have to tell you who Houseshoes is, but for those of you sleeping under a rock he is Hip Hop! To the point, laid back, real, Detroit, and all around good dude are just a few ways I would describe Houseshoes. From killing it DJing to making ill beats this is the guy to know. A while back I got this track called Castles by Houseshoes. Since then I’ve been keeping an eye out for whatever he drops, even podcast. Unlike other podcast, Houseshoes’ reads more like a resume and list of his friends. I’m amazed of all the projects and the people he’s worked with. Be sure to check out The Makings and keep your eyes and ears open for his LP, and look for him at Shoes House (Blue Monkey Lounge) in Hollywood. BIG thanks to Houseshoes for taking the time.

14KT’s Nowalataz is one of the reasons I don’t sleep. Dope stuff comes out any time of the day. I got an email from the fam at A-Side Worldwide about 9pm, but I went jogging…and didn’t read it until 11pm. If I slept on this a little longer I would have missed the boat.

I read the title Nowalataz, and it gave me flashbacks of that hard ass candy that could take your tooth out if you chewed it wrong. Nowalataz is nothing like that. 14KT drops some sweet tracks on your ears. Now these are Donut inspired tracks from 2006, and you know how sweet that was. Just like Donuts, Nowalataz is going straight into heavy rotation on the ipod. Take the time to read how these beats came about. It will inspire you.
