A combination of Simple X from Chicago and Pimpernel Jones from the UK, Herma Puma brings a wide range of Hip Hop to your speakers. Herma Puma’sSynchromystic isn’t only a mix of some dope beats, but features emcees from both sides of the world. Chapel Perilous, Love Sweet Love, Sunday, Disposable, and Psyke Outare just a few that I have on repeat. Synchromystic is one of those albums you take to a party, push play, and wait for people to ask, “who is this?” and how can they get a copy. Well I know just the place you can get it. Download Herma Puma – Synchromystic from BandCamp. Well worth it! Also check out Herma Puma on Twitter. BIG thanks Simple X and Pimpernel Jones Jones. Keep making that good music.

Tommy Blak (Treklife‘s DJ) posted something on Twitter about a reunion record from The Artifacts. In turn, I shared the video of C’mon Wit Da Git Down (1994) with the twitternets. While listening to the track, I started thinking of another, more recent track that employed the same sample – Lo’ Sweatas, by Project Mayhem. While debating the merits of making a Cabazon run to get my ‘lo up for the fall, I gave their video a play.
I started wondering if they released other records, or if they went out like Leaders of the New School (via Ustream, instead of YO! maybe?) and that I just didn’t catch it. I jumped from Myspace to Twitter and ended up on Fake Shore Drive. I’m just gonna chill out here in this steamy-hot Chi-City state of mind for a little bit, if you don’t mind. Maybe jump on the train & pop into Jugrnaut or something. In the mean time, give this track a spin & pop in the video on your lunch break.

A while back we got the track Hot & Nasty from the (Eulorhythmics Kenny Keys & aDad) featuring Proh Mic. It piqued our interest enough to check out the whole album titled Green Street & Avers. The production the tracks are dope. I would definitely like to check out an instrumental version of Green Street & Avers. Not forgetting about the lyrcis, aDad brings this hypnotic lyrical rhythm to the album. Together you’ll be nodding your head a few seconds into the first track. Check out Eulorhythmics – Green Street & Avers on Amazon.com or iTunes. BIG thanks to Anthony Fields from All Natural Inc. for keeping us in the know.

Eulorhythmics is new to me, but anything featuring my man Proh Mic I gotta check it out. Eulorhythmics kicked out a laid back, easy going, vibing track, Hot & Nasty. I played it a couple of times back to back, and got it in heavy rotation on the ipod. Eulorhythmics are dropping their album Green St. & Avers this month, and we will keep you posted. For now check Eulorhythmics – Hot & Nasty feat. Proh Michere. BIG thanks to Anthony Fields from All Natural Inc. for the heads up, and Kenny Fresh for the connect. Keep your eyes and ears open because All Natural Inc. is dropping some hits.

This cat Add-2 is already making moves. Tale of Two’s City Vol. 3: The Rise & Fall is presented by the 2Dope Boyz & Okayplayer, featured on Okayplayer, and URB Next 1000 also did a feature on the chi-town native. It’s good, and good music needs to get out there. I first heard of Add-2 from Real T@lk’s Mo Better Mixtape, and started doing my homework. Tale of Two’s City Vol. 3: The Rise & Fall has been on heavy rotation in my ipod for a while. I downloaded it a few days after it dropped, and was glad for it. “Do your weekend a favor and download this now…” written by Shamz. Download Add-2′s Tale of Two’s City Vol. 3: The Rise & Fall here. BIG thanks to 2Dope Boyz & Okayplayer for backing a cat that should be out there doing it BIG.

Surfing around the net as usual, ran across this cat Real T@lk and his mixtape called Mo Better Mixtape. Mo Better Blues is one of my favorite movies and using it as a theme for a mixtape just bumped it up a few degrees to make it hotter. Mo Better Mixtape kicks it off with Real T@lk showing his lyrical skills acapella track. Following it up with an ill track called Mo Better music produced by Matcy P. that will keep you listening. Real T@lk has got a style that’s hard to compare with others, so it stands out. Authentik Made produced most of the joints with the exception of a few other producers and some borrowed tracks. Download Real T@lk’s The Mo Better Mixtape here. BIG thanks to Real T@lk & Authentik Made for the great tunes.

Jay Who? Is what you’ll say, but after listening it will be more like “WTF did he just say?!” Jay Who is making beats, stepping up to the mic, and in a big way. He’s letting it hang out and don’t care who hears him. On top of that Jay Who is a name dropper on “The Name Drop,” but dropping some serious issues on “Anymore.” The beats are tight and the lyrics are a throw back to fun hip hop. Check it out Download it here. BIG thanks to Ill Vibes for the post.
