I first heard of Buff1 years ago from my friend Dahlia when he dropped Pure. Moving Along (ft. Tiffany Page) & For U were my joints. From then until now he’s dropped many joints, featured on ton’s of tracks, and joined forces with many heavy hitters like Rhettmatic (Crown Royale). It’s A 1derful Life is a rundown of some projects and features that Buff1 has done, and it’s hosted by DJ Rhettmatic. It’s A 1derful Life is filled with high energy tunes that will make you dance. - If you haven’t caught up to Buff1, it’s because he’s busy cranking out projects like Crown Royale, Athletic Mic League (AML), and not to mention his solo projects but he still finds time to drop in on a show or 2. This track, Original by the Space Invadas, features Buff1 & RuC.L and will also be featured on Buff”s upcoming project It’s A 1derful Life (drops Dec 2…Buff’s B-Day). The great folks at A-Side Worldwide have been dropping sneak peeks of Buff1′s projects like The Shift (track below). I’m still not sure what project that ones coming from, but I’m sure it’ll be cool. It’s A 1derful Life got folks from Rhettmatic to Cook Classics doing production on it (click the cover for track list). So keep your eyes and ears open on December 2!!! When you hit play the first thing they tell you is, “This is not a mixtape, this is a prequel to the album.” I thought they were crazy, until i heard it. I would call “From There to Here” a complete album. It’s very well put together and has that laid back hip hop feel. The joint “Radio” took me back, especially when he calls out “Award Tour” by A Tribe Called Quest. Get it while you still can. Download the “album” here, or check out Outasight’s Mypace page. Just when I was running into a lot of east coast stuff, I’m glad to bring you a mixtape that reps L.A.. You gotta love love hip hop. Cook Classics puts together a mixtape that even has 6 bonus tracks. Now when was the last time you got a FREE mixtape with more FREE tracks?! I hope Cook is making money some how.
