Not sure if you guys know about Tres Records, but they are cranking out great artists. Co$$ (aka Ca$hUSKing) has joined that group of talented folks. February/March Co$$ is gearing up to drop his LP on Tres Records, but before that let’s talk Revelations. Co$$ teamed up with Hip Hop producer Numonics from Florida that did a bang up job on these beats. I gotta do some more digging on Numonics, and from what I get from Revelations I know I need to keep my ears open for this dude. The combination of the 2 feels like it was meant to be. Co$$ gives a natural flow over Numonics upbeats tempos, and with guest appearances like Freddie Gibbs on Gone, you can’t help but to put Revelations on repeat. I was at Fat Beats talking to House Shoes, and he pulls a record off the rack and says “You should get this”.  It was Dynas – The Apartment and at first I was like ” who’s this cat?”  House Shoes put it on the turntable and started going through the tracks.  ”And this is why you should check it out”.  I mean with tracks like The Future featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff and Family Jewels with Slick Rick you can’t go wrong.  Dynas The Apartment is in heavy heavy rotation on the ipod.  To sum it up when House Shoes talks music…TAKE NOTES. Got an email from my man Spon letting me know that Al jaZz and him just dropped Brazillionaires.  The last project Spon put out, Buy Surprise, flexed his beat making skills, and he’s back to flex his lyrical ones.  Al jaZz and Spon linked up through a remixed track that Al jaZz did.  Shortly after that,  they started sending beats back and forth.  Most of the samples for Brazillionaires are from Brazilian tracks- hence the name.  Needs vs. Wants, & Listen and Learn are a couple of my favorite tracks, but you can ride out on the whole thing. B+C has been laying low for a while, but is running at full speed. One of the things that got us going, totally came Buy Surprise. Spon aka Sponatola hit me with this mix of beats. I started listening to it while he was giving me the back story. Spon is known for drop lyrics, but wanted to let folks know he can drop a beat too. I wasn’t familiar with Spon the rapper, but quickly got to know Spon the beat maker after playing Buy Surprise back to back several times. Buy Surprise shows the range that Spon has as a beat maker.
