CAPTURED: U, Me & Hip Hop is a group photo exhibit of captured moments in Hip Hop. Cognito, Jewell, B+, BRASS, Coleman, Jay Three & Mike Park are just some of the featured photographers. In addition to photos, music video director Jerome D will be projecting his music videos. On the 1′s and 2′s with DJ Sean O, J-Heart, & J1 aka THE DEER with special guest. It’s definitely a do not miss event! The opening reception is on Saturday, June 5th from 6pm – 11pm. Hip Hop fans, art lovers, and everyone in between come check it out and support your local artists!

The Root Down was on fire last Thursday with Frank Nitt, Illa J, J Black, and DJ J Heart. I was coming back from NYC and looking for an LA party, so I hit the El Cid for the Root Down.
