B+C did a collabo project with LA Stereo to bring you a 1 on 1 interview with House Shoes and J1 aka THE DEER. Part 1: The Mayor of Detroit Hip Hop, an L.A. staple, producer, DJ, pop to lil House Shoes, and all around good dude… House Shoes. He has worked with everyone from Detroit to LA, and gone around the world several times. Recently House Shoes hooked up with All City Records (from Dublin) for their 4th installment to their L.A. I have to say I’m sorry for holding back on this one. This post is long overdue. I was kicking it with the LA Stereo fam and met Jazzi. We talked for a while and it came out that she makes beats. At first I was like, “what’s this little girl know about making some beats”. I say little girl, because she’s little and a girl, nothing more. Jazzi looks like the girl next door or someone’s little sister. A few nights later I looked for her beat tape The Girl Beatz Volume 1, and I’ve been playing it since. The Girl Beatz Vol.1 is banging. It doesn’t sounds like what’s going on now, but 3 or 4 steps ahead. Don’t get it twisted when you talk to Jazzi because she can beat talk the talk with the best of them. El Prez – Animal Style!

El Prez is a Los Angeles staple like the Lakers and In-N-Out. It shouldn’t be a surprise that El Prez’s title Animal Style! and cover art have that In-N-Out look. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. What does surprise me is that he can crank out projects, and be everywhere at once! For reals. I’ve seen him at several events, he’s mentioned on every blog (check the interview on LA Stereo), updates his tumblr site, and tweets throughout the day. I’d call him a super emcee.
