VerBS is an all around good dude and a good friend. Not only is he a dope emcee, but also a connector in the L.A. Hip Hop scene. Not sure how it all went down, but Bless Escro shot me an email about his latest project, The Blessed. Really nice album, I listened to it straight through. The Blessed has a familiar/comfortable feel to it, like this is the way Hip Hop should be. Bless Escro is blessed with skills to spit with substance. The production on the tracks have hard hitting beats that will make your speakers rattle. Let Bless Escro bless your ear drums with The Blessed. Pay what you want and download Bless Escro – The Blessed on Band Camp. BIG thanks to the homie VerBS for the connect.

I met Seven Day through my homie Versis, and have been keeping an eye on their progress ever since. They keep growing with every project they put out. Right away CNCPT II shows Seven Day is making alot of progress fast. The production on it is ridiculous and they aren’t falling short on the lyrics. They’re making bangers, so don’t sleep. Even though it says “Name Your Price,” CNCPT II is worth a full price. Support these cats and buy a copy. Download Seven Day – CNCPT II on Band Camp. BIG thanks to Seven Day for the heads up and keep doing what you’re doing.

Magestik Legend doesn’t disappoint, and he brings the heat once again with To Be Continued… Chapter 1. I played To Be Continued from beginning to end, and had the volume cranked up. I thought Magestik Legend was dope when he dropped FREE, but he kills it on this one. Bout Freedom (produced by Astronote) gets you geared up to walk a little harder, head nodding , hands waving.. good time. To Be Continued is hosted by T3 of Slum Village and has guest appearances by Marv Won, Ro Spit, Othello, and Buff1 gives a shout out. Check out the track Day Break featuring Othello and produced by 14KT. If you don’t like that track, Hip Hop is not your genre. Download Magstik Legend – To Be Continued… Chapter 1 on BandCamp. BIG thanks Magestik for the heads up on this one.

I don’t know, maybe I’m a sucka for sampling, but the Elevated Ruffians know how to make it a hit. Or it could be because they’re rep’n the I.E. to the fullest. Or just maybe it’s the combination of word play and content. Either way…DOWNLOAD IT! I got an email from the Elevated Ruffians with all kinds of links and musical goodness. The Magnificent Soul EP was in there too. I was listening and when I heard Noa James on Nothin’ New, I knew I had to post this up. The track was popping, but got a couple levels higher when the Noa dropped some lines. Download Elevated Ruffians – The Magnificent Soul EP on Bandcamp. Check out The Magnificent Soul LP on ReverbNation. Keep your eyes open for other projects from their crew, elevatedSOUL and MAGNIFICENT RUFFIANS.BIG thanks Elevated Ruffians for shooting this over. Keep doing what you’re doing.

When URB magazine put TAIS on the Next 1000 list, it’s for a good reason. TAIS dropped Too Complex earlier this week and it’s banging. Here is an emcee folks need to study. Not only for TAIS‘ lyrical skill, but for his staying power. TAIS dropped 2 mixtapes, leaked a couple of tracks in between, and lots of videos of his shows. A combination of all of this and with a positive attitude, it won’t be long before you hear the explosion. Too Complex is filled with banging beats and a dope featured emcee. Left Hemispere is another track I have on heavy rotation. Check out TAIS – Too Complex on BandCamp. Also check TAIS‘ other projects at TAISMusic.com. BIG thanks TAIS.
