CAPTURED: U, Me & Hip Hop is a group photo exhibit of captured moments in Hip Hop. Cognito, Jewell, B+, BRASS, Coleman, Jay Three & Mike Park are just some of the featured photographers. In addition to photos, music video director Jerome D will be projecting his music videos. On the 1′s and 2′s with DJ Sean O, J-Heart, & J1 aka THE DEER with special guest. It’s definitely a do not miss event! The opening reception is on Saturday, June 5th from 6pm – 11pm. Hip Hop fans, art lovers, and everyone in between come check it out and support your local artists!

My friend Alex asked me if I have ever heard of this group called CunninLynguists. I was like what are you talking about man, and he told me to check’em out. I didn’t have to do much diggin for these cats, because they recently dropped their 7th album titled Strange Journey Vol. 1. I ran across this YouTube video Never Come Down (The Brownie Song), and it had me roll’n. The lyrics are crazy and the video is a perfect match. You’ll get a kick outta it.
