This cat Add-2 is already making moves. Tale of Two’s City Vol. 3: The Rise & Fall is presented by the 2Dope Boyz & Okayplayer, featured on Okayplayer, and URB Next 1000 also did a feature on the chi-town native. It’s good, and good music needs to get out there. I first heard of Add-2 from Real T@lk’s Mo Better Mixtape, and started doing my homework. Tale of Two’s City Vol. 3: The Rise & Fall has been on heavy rotation in my ipod for a while. I’m really diggin Kid Cudi these days, and he’s featured on Consequence’s new video “Buggin Out” 09. Watching the video kinda makes you feel like you’re buggin out, it’s short and colorful. It’s directed by Rik Cordero who’s starting to be on my favorite directors list. These days he seems to be the go to guy in hip hop videos. I first took notice on The Roots video 75 Bars.

Digging around on Okayplayer I found a post about Mos Def’s new LP coming out. I did a search and got a little more… a lot more. Mos has got a West Coast connect with Madlib and Oh No producing some tracks. Not just that, but has Chad Hugo, Mr. Port, and the late great J Dilla. If I get a sneak peek I’ll post it.
