Yes it’s that time again folks….Boombox!!! The Boombox team has come up with a great line up as usual for March. They’ve got Mr. Rhettmatic in the house with Lefto, and P.U.D.G.E. bringing the banging tracks. And it’s always a family affair with your resident DJs Inka One, Ben Diggin, and Analog. I have been going to Boombox for a while and have always had a good time. I’ll tell you this once again, bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a party.

Episode 004: Hangin Wit The Homeboys

To start off, I have listened to this episode of Beats+Crates Radio 12 times (and counting). No joke. J1 has got a group of talented friends, and P.U.D.G.E. raised the bar on this one. P.U.D.G.E. is a DJ, emcee, a beat maker, and continues to crank out the projects. This episode of Beats+Crates Radio, Hanging Wit The Homeboys, covers the Hip Hop gamut in 53 minutes. I asked P.U.D.G.E. about the title and he answered, “Cuz I know and/or am associated wit everyone on the playlist.” I stopped for a minute and was like “wow,” and proceeded to go over the playlist a 2nd and 3rd time. Yes, that dope. P.U.D.G.E.’s got quite a few projects out now, but is getting ready to drop another in a few days on BandCamp. Keep your eye and ears open. If you’re looking to take off and experience another planet, Starship 27 is for you. This compilation of beats has heavy hitters on it, and J1 aka The DEER is the master mind behind this outta space journey. With his co-pilot Weyez and trusty navigator (the man on the 1′s & 2′s) DJ Seano aka The Wolverine cranked out a banging album. Yes not just a mix of tracks that existed, but each producer made a track for Starship 27.
