Pheo is this cat from Mo Val that I heard of from my IE people. He dropped the Word to Your Blogger mixtape a while back, and since has done a grip of guest spots. Dropping his second project, Pheo is causing a WRIOT! The title track is a banger. Last Night Morning has this crazy beat, and at first I was like” he’s going to rap to that?!? How?” Oh yeah he sure does. Pheo’s mixtape is a throw back with a fresh take on it. He has the laid back chill party rhyme style of Dom Kennedy, and Alf Alpha brings the soulful beats and kick samples to a simmering boil making “Word To Your Blogger” hot. Using beats from Outkast to Souls of Mischief you can’t help but to have flashbacks to the early 90′s. This is one mixtape I’m taking to everyone’s house party and putting it on repeat.
