Svetnik is crazy talented.  If you don’t know who he is there was a B+C post a while back that was about his other beat tape Lo.Fi. Rocking Lo.Fi made me feel relaxed and at peace no matter what chaos was going down.  Blueprint gives you that same feeling with a nice upbeat tempo.  I was cranking out all kinds of work listening to Blueprint.  I dig the track Making Love To You because it sounds like there is a sample of one of my favorite songs; A Brighter Day by Ronnie Jordan.  Either way you’ve got to kepp an eye out for Svetnik because he drops well produced projects. The first time I heard the track Please Tip Your Driver, I played it over and over.  Shortly after, I hit up Red Pill and wanted to get the low down on the track.  It’s the first single from his album with the same title.  At the time when I first heard it, the album Please Tip Your Driver, didn’t have a release date, and a few months later it is here!  I have to tell you Please Tip Your Driver is a MUST have. Dead End Road, I Understand, YouCanMakeLifeCanMakeYou every track is like a short story that you can relate to.  I don’t know what else Red Pill’s got in the works, but he’s one to look for. If there is one producer to look out for, it’s Snowman Jack. He’s cranked out tracks for artists from Guilty Simpson to Magestik Legend.  I really got to know Snowman’s work when he did I Believe on the Starship 27 compilation, and that’s when I started digging around.  I hit Snowman up to see what he could bless B+C with, and man he dropped these joints and then some. The first project I heard from Thelonious was Fear of Flight and it was dope. I kept checking back with Thelonious, and he just cranked one beat tape out after the next. I have had the honor of doing the art for one of the many beat tapes, Big Wheels &  Gold Teeth, but also keep it in heavy rotation on my iPod. A few days ago Thelonious let me know he was getting ready to put out Life Of A Teenage Champion, and explained that he was feeling really good about this one. I was excited for him and couldn’t wait to hear the progression that Thelonious made from his first beat tape to this Life Of A Teenage Champion. J. Bizness dropped Reason Beats & Pieces a while back and it was something to rock to. You can’t go too long without hearing a J. Bizness beat, he’s everywhere. J. I have a love-hate relationship with EP’s. When I love it, I hate waiting for the rest of the LP to come out, and Something Out Of Nothing is no different. After listening to the 8 track debut EP…a few times I was like, “When’s the LP coming?!”  SelfSays has a classic style of flow with a Detroit twist that complements the electro-sapce beats. The cover art is a trip too. Reminds me of Fly Lo’s Los Angeles. Something Out Of Nothing is a chill EP that you can easily put on repeat. I was sleeping on this one. Please take note, the bar has been set high…because of this cat Magestik Legend. I can’t recall how it went down, but Kyla opened up my ears to Magestik Legend. I downloaded Free the night before, and my first thought was I’m too swapped to through something else on the ipod. I did it anyways and good thing too. On my way home I played Free, and my pace got faster. Had to get home and post this. Each track hit hard if not harder then previous one. Besides Magestik Legend producing tracks, I also saw Snowman Jack on there. The track In N Out that he produced had to be a banger, and it is.

I checked out Lawz Spoken’s Standing In The Rain, and right of the bat was feeling the Intro (Wake Up Everybody). I’ve been grooving on it for a while and thought it needed to get out to the masses.
