The summer is here and Boombox is bringing the heat with their June (4th) guests. From the world famous Beat Junkies, and Dilated Peoples, DJ Babu will be in the building spinning on the 1’s and 2’s! And also spinning, your favorite beat maker and mine, Exile. From Dirty Science to Radio you know some incredible things are going down on the turntable. The special guest host for the evening is aDad from All Natural and Dirty Science. You know you can always count on your resident DJs Inka One, Ben Diggin, and Analog for groovy tunes. It’ll be a party in Chinatown! Come on out and give your ears a treat!

Yes it’s that time again folks….Boombox!!! The Boombox team has come up with a great line up as usual for March. They’ve got Mr. Rhettmatic in the house with Lefto, and P.U.D.G.E. bringing the banging tracks. And it’s always a family affair with your resident DJs Inka One, Ben Diggin, and Analog. I have been going to Boombox for a while and have always had a good time. I’ll tell you this once again, bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a party.
Bobo Meets Rhettmattic The Mixtape will make you want to dance, happy, flashback, & drunk off percussion rhythms all in one shot. Not sure how this idea came about, but it works. Eric Bobo is known from Cypress Hill, and has teamed up with world famous Beat Junky and member of the Visionaries DJ Rhettmatic to bring you this eclectic mixtape of dopeness. I first heard of Buff1 years ago from my friend Dahlia when he dropped Pure. Moving Along (ft. Tiffany Page) & For U were my joints. From then until now he’s dropped many joints, featured on ton’s of tracks, and joined forces with many heavy hitters like Rhettmatic (Crown Royale). It’s A 1derful Life is a rundown of some projects and features that Buff1 has done, and it’s hosted by DJ Rhettmatic. It’s A 1derful Life is filled with high energy tunes that will make you dance. Stuff to do in LA is always a good time so check this event out: The World Famous Beat Junkies and special guest Pete Rock at the Echoplex! If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who any of these people are, you really don’t need to go. For everyone else, this show is going to be dope.
