Hopes & Dreams is a dope track. I’m really feeling the concept and how the video was shot. It makes me want to catch a cab with hopes of finding a girl who needs a ride. The video fits the classic style flow of ScholarMan. B+C is going to keep an eye on ScholarMan, and will keep you posted. Check out ScholarMan.com for more info.

Kendrick Lamar (EP) is another one I’ve had in heavy rotation on the ipod. Is It Love is the track that pulls you in. There’s a lot of good stuff coming from the West, and Kendrick Lamar is adding to the count. Keep killin ‘em. The first time I heard of Jerome D was when he shot that Carter Video, and I knew it wasn’t going to be the last time. Kendrick Lamar’s She Needs Me is another dope video from his latest projects. Don’t sleep on Jerome D. I’m sure you’ll be knocking on his door soon. Download Kendrick Lamar – Kendrick Lamar (EP) on BandCamp. BIG thanks Kendrick Lamar for making good music.

Kendrick Lamar – Thanksgiving ft. Big Pooh
A while back I connected with Adikt1 and with Kahlee & Uptown Swuite they put out The Seed. These cats stay busy. Kahlee hit me with this dope video, Live On Stage by Krazy Race (ft. Kahlee). Live On Stage has a classic hip hop style to it, so I was feeling it right away. I was digging the graff walls in the background, and hip hop heads rocking to a dope beat. Check out Chronicles of a Krazy Race at CD Baby.com. BIG thanks Kahlee for the heads up.
If you haven’t seen F.A.M.E. (Max, Malaguti, & Teeko) live this video will give you a glimpse of their set up. I’ve checked them out when they’ve been in L.A., but real talk F.A.M.E. is a must see! For most of y’all I don’t have to tell you who Houseshoes is, but for those of you sleeping under a rock he is Hip Hop! To the point, laid back, real, Detroit, and all around good dude are just a few ways I would describe Houseshoes. From killing it DJing to making ill beats this is the guy to know. A while back I got this track called Castles by Houseshoes. Since then I’ve been keeping an eye out for whatever he drops, even podcast. Unlike other podcast, Houseshoes’ reads more like a resume and list of his friends. I’m amazed of all the projects and the people he’s worked with. Be sure to check out The Makings and keep your eyes and ears open for his LP, and look for him at Shoes House (Blue Monkey Lounge) in Hollywood. BIG thanks to Houseshoes for taking the time.

Fat Beats “BUY A RECORD”
Saturday morning (afternoon for everyone else) chilling with no plans. turned on the computer and checked email and twitter to see what’s the buzz. I read DJ Neil Armstrong’s tweets that he was chilling at The Block in Orange. I hit him up to see if he was down for an interview, and he was like “Come on down.” I jetted from Pasadena to Orange in under an hour to bring you this great footage. BIG thanks DJ Neil Armstrong for taking the time.

Nero is that rap where you said, “where was I…sleeping?” I can’t remember where I found Alive & Vibrant: Relive The Moment, but it is killer. I had it for 2 days and finally threw it on when I was in the car. I was rock’n out to stuff I was reviewing, and some heavy rotations. When it got to Alive & Vibrant: Relive The Moment. I picked up my ipod and was like “wow, who’s this?” Nero’s sound is classic, but truly stands out on his own. Rugged & Raw sets it off, and lets you know this cat can killa mic. The track that takes you back is Flava In Ya Ear (NBA Jam Edition) ft. Truck North, Chip Tha Ripper, The Kid Daytona & El Prez. Yeah you remember Craig Mac. Nero is the cat that’s making big waves, so keep your ears open & your eyes peeled. Download Alive & Vibrant: Relive The Moment here. Check out Nero on MySpace and on Twitter. BIG thanks to Nero for making banging music.
